As crazy as it might seem, it was one of our direct competitors in New Zealand who introduced us to the company that manages our Philippines staff. The simple fact is, Web Wonks is so much richer as a company because of our relationship with our team in Manila. The culture, the ethics, the intelligence, and the commitment to hard work are very much how Kiwis work and we are proud to be in partnership with our Filipino team.
Our first team member was employed in Manila in 2017 in an Operations capacity. Today we have Operations, Insights, Traffic, and Management staff, all who contribute to the global delivery of digital marketing services.
Our team in Manila worked tirelessly through the Covid years and never once dropped the ball, even when forced to in lockdowns that made the work-life balance hard. We now have a hybrid work-from-home, work-from-the-office model for our Philippines staff, which is designed to empower our team to live a balanced life.
